Welcome to the Gillingham Methodist Church & Centre Website

We are a church, but more than a church - much more. We provide worship opportunities, but our Christian objective is to serve the community in a variety of ways - mainly by providing a range of facilities that are available to groups requiring a regular meeting place, or for one-off events.

On this site, 'The Facilities' page will give you more information if you are looking for somewhere to meet.

Alternatively we welcome enquiries from any organisation, local or otherwise, who would like to use our premises.

You will see that the main church hall, with its computerised facilities and an audio/visual console, is suitable for concerts, conferences, or as a training venue.

Your organisation does not need to have a connection with our church to meet here, but your aims and objectives must not conflict with our Christian principles.
Over the next few pages we have put together some information, with pictures, of what we can offer you.

You will find us at:
100 Third Avenue, Gillingham Kent ME7 2LU

If you want to know more, use the 'Contact Us' button on the left, or you will find our telephone number and email address at the bottom of 'The Facilities' page.

We will be pleased to show you round our premises and discuss your requirements, without you having to commit yourself to using our facilities.
We just require a little advance notice of your visit.
Visitors to the area, and local residents, are always welcome to share in our worship, at the 10.30am Sunday Services
We are pleased to be able to tell you that there is not just the Methodist community worshipping here.
If you take a look at our 'Activities' page, you will see that The Chinese Methodist Fellowship and The Nigerian Pentecostal Church hold their services on the premises too.

On the 'Concerts' page we have included a picture of the Calvin College Orchestra, from Grand Rapids, Michigan USA. The young people entertained us on Saturday January 14th and also played during our morning worship the following day
Revd Melvyn Cooke is the Superintendent Minister of the
